AUDITION ONLY
Applause Players: Applause’s theater group works weekly starting in October to put on a spectacular full-length musical come Spring. Under the current direction of Oceana Marie Dunsire, students learn character development, various acting techniques, dance routines, and vocal training. Ages 8 to 18.

All dancers must be enrolled in Ballet and/or Tap to audition.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Voice: In these lessons, students will learn vocal technique, ear training, music theory, rhythm, and songwriting. We will talk about proper vocal care as well as learning to sing with a healthy sound! We will do a combination of songs that the instructor will assign and songs that the student chooses each week, while continuing to work on technique. Students will be given access to a Google slide link that they can revisit at any time to see the weekly lesson plan, homework, and games that the instructor will update after every lesson so that students can stay up to date on all of the things they do inside of the lessons.

Piano: Through games, dancing, and critical listening/thinking, students will learn music theory, ear training, composition, and sight reading/reading sheet music. We believe that everyone learns differently and has so much creativity, so we try to tailor the curriculum for each lesson towards the individual we are teaching. In the lessons, the student and instructor will take turns choosing songs to work on. We feel it is really important to give structure and learn new material, but to also learn material that the students will enjoy and engage with while continuing to learn the technical portion of music making. Students will be given access to a Google slide link that they can revisit at any time to see the weekly lesson plan, homework, and games that the instructor will update after every lesson so that students can stay up to date on all of the things they do inside of the lessons.
