Audition Only Groups
Performance Team
This team is Applause Studio’s performance troupe that travels throughout the PNW (and beyond!) performing a variety of styles, from Musical Theatre to Hip Hop! Think of it as a variety show with you as the star. We have two teams: Ovation (Grades 2-5) and Accolade (Grades 6-12). Ovation meets on Wednesday evenings and Accolade meets on Monday evenings. Team members are required to take either a ballet or tap class at Applause Studio, in addition to their team rehearsals. Team rehearsals are focused solely on team building and choreography, whereas the additional class allows students time to strengthen their dance technique.
Ovation (Grades 2-5) auditions will be held on Wednesday, September 10th from 7:00-8:30 PM.
Accolade (Grades 6-12) auditions will be held on Monday, September 8th from 4:00-5:30 PM.
Applause Players
Applause’s theater group works weekly starting in October to put on a spectacular full-length musical come Spring. Under the current direction of Teddy B. Victor, students learn character development, various acting techniques, dance routines, and vocal training. The Applause Players rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-8:30. Must be in Grades 3-12 to audition.
Auditions for our production of Beetlejuice Jr. will be held on Tuesday, September 9th & Thursday, September 11th from 7:00-8:30 PM.
Vocal callbacks will be held on Tuesday, September 16th from 7:00-8:30 PM.
Dance callbacks will be held on Thursday, September 18th from 7:00-8:30 PM.
Principal callbacks will be held on Saturday, September 20th from 1:00-3:00 PM.
Arpeggio Performance Choir
Love to sing? Got great energy, solid pitch, and an excitement for performing? Then Arpeggio is perfect for you! This auditioned youth choir brings talented singers together to sing everything from pop to classical and beyond. Get ready to explore rich harmonies, learn how to blend, and really connect with an audience. Along the way, you’ll sharpen your vocal technique, perform at exciting concerts and become part of a fun, supportive community of music lovers just like you.
Auditions will be held on Thursday, September 11th from 5:30-7:00 PM.
Out of the Box Players
The perfect opportunity for actors wanting to take their acting to the next level, Out of the Box is our ensemble-based acting troupe for teens and adults. This unique combination of in-class training and rehearsal will focus on ensemble building, script analysis, and engaging storytelling. Each semester will also end with a staged performance that shows we like to think out of the box! The Out of the Box Players meet weekly on Fridays from 7:15-8:45pm from September-January and February-June.
Auditions for our production of Romeo & Juliet will be held on Friday, September 5th from 7:00-9:00 PM.
Callbacks will be held on Saturday, September 6th from 6:00-8:00 PM.
