Our new show choir will be perfect for those who want to improve their singing and performing.  This group will learn to sing in harmony with one another with some solo opportunities as well.

Our teacher will introduce the fundamentals of breathing, diaphragm control, correct posture, good vocal support, tone production, and diction in a relaxed and supportive setting. In addition, students receive training in pitch, tone, agility, projection, timing, and phrasing.

We strive to give the best training possible to prevent vocal injury and to increase range, flexibility, and control. Students gain confidence as they learn to use their voices properly and expressively while reducing strain and physical tension. These lessons can also help students prepare for future auditions through vocal coaching, staging instruction, and assistance in selecting appropriate repertoire. Students learn vocal and physical warm-ups and how to work with an accompanist.

We hope to give them many performance opportunities.  Our professional voical instructor Laurie Reimer will be directing this choir class.

This is the optimal team for a student who loves to sing, dance and perform. Comprised of two groups; Generation & Journey. The performance team creates its own 45 minute variety show which includes all types of dance styles and musical numbers.  The prestigious performers on this team learn at least four different highly entertaining routines in one class from different instructors that challenges both their dance technique and vocal abilities. Catch them performing their show at various venues in our community such as the Seattle Center House, Evergreen State Fair and Mill Creek Festival to name a few. All dancers must be at least 6 years old and have at least one year of dance experience to be eligible to audition. Auditions for new team members are held in June, but can be arranged through Sept.
